Chimphli is a fragrance inspired by Thai mythology, uniting the legend of the celestial Chimphli Abode, the home of Phaya Suban, King of the Garuda, with the kapok tree, a symbol of sweetness and suffering. In myth, Garudas draw strength from kapok nectar, while the same tree appears in underworld lore as a test of endurance.

Native to Northern Thailand, the kapok tree is deeply woven into local culture, from cuisine and honey to traditional textiles. Its dual nature, nourishing yet formidable, forms the soul of this composition.

The scent opens with bright lemon and pink pepper, warmed by Jamaican rum. At its heart, kapok flower and beeswax blend with cumin, before settling into ambrette seed, Thai oud, and immortelle, creating a smoky, honeyed, animalic depth.
